As you know, tuition costs are skyrocketing for students across Tennessee. With no relief in site, I have developed a free innovative and unique resource on the Web, NashvilleScholarships.com, to assist Middle Tennessee high school and college students in identifying “hard-to-find” scholarship dollars. Being a Nashville native and a graduate of a Tennessee college, I understand that tuition expenses are rising dramatically and I wanted to do something to help my fellow Tennesseans.
NashvilleScholarships.co appeals uniquely to the Metro community, representing an unrivaled, refreshing and inexpensive avenue to reach this market. It is a one-stop shop for Metro area residents to search for scholarship dollars that are not aggressively advertised to students who plan to attend or are already enrolled in local colleges and universities. In addition, it is a place for scholarship providers to post their scholarships for applicant awareness.
On NashvilleScholarships.com, you will find:
• Over 150 locally based scholarship opportunities
• Accurate up-to-date scholarship information for Middle Tennessee high school students
• Assistance to current local college students searching for scholarships
And, updated weekly, the site will contain information including:
• A scholarship directory
• Award Announcements – covering award ceremonies and the list of scholarship recipients
• Upcoming events from various organizations raising funds for their respective scholarships
NashvilleScholarships.com is a portal, not only for students, high school guidance counselors, college financial aid offices and other to locate scholarships for their students, BUT it is also for the scholarship provider organizations. We provide an awareness vehicle to help you spread the word about your scholarship! Many times local scholarship providers only use word-of-mouth to solicit applicants. And, as you are aware, this process is very limited in terms of exposure and reach. Even affiliate organizations or companies that offer scholarships to their members or employees often find limited number of scholarship applicants due to lack of awareness of the scholarship's existence. Hopefully this website will make that process much easier and I can aid assist you in helping to serve the commuity.
